The next meeting of the St. Tammany Photographic Society will be on Thursday, May 9th at 7:00 pm in the St. Tammany Art Association Art House at 320 N. Columbia Street in Covington. Charlie Leche will present the next in his series on DSLR Basics: 'Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO: Controlling Exposure to Get the Best Photos.' He will touch on depth of field, subject blur, neutral density filters, noise reduction, and the histogram.

Annual dues are $20 per person or $25 per couple.

Regular meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month, at 7:00 pm in the St. Tammany Art Association Art House at 320 N. Columbia Street in Covington. Non-members who are interested in learning more about the STPS are welcome to attend any meeting.
The mission of the St. Tammany Photographic Society is to enhance the creative and technical skills of its members and to promote the understanding of photography as an art form.
Formed in October 2008, we are group of photographers who meet to share techniques, take pictures, and pursue various interests within the world of photography.
Everyone who has an interest in photography is welcome to join our society. We cater to all levels of experience from the most inexperienced newcomer right through to the professional.
